Kern Technology Group Awarded Contract to Develop New Acoustic Counter Detection Tactical Decision Aid

In order to maintain acoustic advantage, submarine crews need to assess acoustic vulnerability for historical, planned tracks and noisy evolutions. Kern Technology Group has been award a Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Award to develop a tactical decision aid that will take inputs from the submarine and it’s environment and develop probability density functions that help the crew plan their missions.
